We work with multiple suppliers and manufacturers in order to provide the largest selection of exotic stone and engineered materials to fit every style and budget. In-stock slabs are always available at reduced pricing. We also have our own fabrication shop, which reduces the need for intermediary contractors and makes your renovation more cost effective. We fabricate your material off site so the installation typically only takes 1-2 days depending on the scope of your project.
Granite
The beauty and durability of granite slabs have made them a favorite surface throughout the ages. Granite is mined from quarries around the world and polished to a fine finish. Because it is porous, granite should be sealed periodically to prevent dirt, bacteria growth and staining. Granite is available in many natural patterns and variations such as speckles, marbled waves throughout, or more of a solid consistency. As it is 100% natural stone, granite can withstand much higher temperatures than quartz, and each slab will be unique. Quartz
Quartz is “engineered stone”, containing about 95% ground natural quartzite and 5% polymer resins. Since quartz is manufactured and pigmented, there are many color options, and slabs are more consistent. Quartz is non-porous and does not need to be sealed. Although quartz is heat resistant, unlike natural stone, it should not be exposed to hot pots and pans. At Arizona Stone Gallery, samples and displays from all major brands such as Cambria, Arista, Pental Quartz, Silestone, Della Terra Quartz and Viatera are readily available in a large variety of colors, styles and finishes. Some popular choices are all white with marble-like veining throughout. We also have varying patterns or speckles to resemble granite, and solid colors for a more modern appeal.
